Davido Vows to Sponsor Child Hawker Abubakar Education to University Level

Over the weekend, precisely Friday, October 16, 2015, Davido’s attention was drawn to a boy said to be a street hawker and deserved to be in school.

Touched by the boy's condition and struggling spirit, the multi-talented singer wasted no time in coming in to held the boy.

Davido requested for the boy to be brought to him and when this was done, he promised to sponsor his education to university level.

“I am ready to give his education till he finishes university MY WORD! Can't wait to meet Abubakar and send him to school. He deserves the world!

“Every child deserves an education but it's sad that, that is not the case in the world today but if we all do our part the world would be a better place! GOD bless his soul,” Davido said.

Guess what! The boy has now been identified, and his name is Abubakar. Davido shared this update on his Facebook page and in his caption promised to finance the boy’s education up to university level! 

See how God just changed this young child's life! Davido says he can't wait to meet the boy. This is the second act of this kind that Davido has done this year. In September, Davido gave a fan one million Naira to pay his school fees. He gave the money to Olajide Daniel Sanyaolu who is a student in the United Kingdom.
