Halle Berry's Uses Alias in Divorce Saga.... As Olivier Martinez Files for Divorce Against Her

Halle Berry's divorce petition went under the radar, because she didn't use her real name, and now a legal fight is brewing over who's divorcing who.

TMZ obtained the docs Halle filed Monday ... one day before Olivier Martinez filed his own divorce petition.
Halle gives her name as Hal Maria. Hal is obviously short for Halle, and Maria is her middle name. We're told she did it for privacy reasons.

Olivier Martinez is listed as Oliver Martin.
Halle's lawyer, Steve Kolodny, even listed their 2-year-old son Maceo as an alias -- Mac Martin.
As for whether filing under an alias is legal or not, it's somewhat unclear, and a judge may have to decide if Halle's petition is legit or if Olivier becomes the petitioner.

We do know this ... Halle did not properly serve Olivier ... she just handed him the documents, which she's not allowed to do. Under California law, a party to an action can't serve the other party.
One interesting thing in Halle's divorce document ... as we reported, the couple has a prenup, and now we know the document provides that each party is entitled to the earnings they made during the marriage ... at least according to Halle.
Olivier Martinez has just filed for divorce against Halle Berry, TMZ has learned ... and the plot is thickening.

TMZ broke the story Halle filed for divorce Tuesday morning, but the divorce petition is nowhere to be found in the system. A source connected to Halle tells us it was filed under pseudonyms.
Apparently Olivier doesn't think fake names are kosher, so his lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, has just filed for divorce listing Olivier as the petitioner.
As for why being the petitioner is important, in Hollywood it matters who left who.

Olivier's asking for joint custody of the couple's 2-year-old son, Maceo. As we reported, they have a prenup so money will not be an issue.

We're told Olivier and Halle have not been getting along and last week was a breaking point, after an LAX employee sued Olivier for pushing a car seat into his chest. He also named Halle and we're told she went nuclear on Olivier saying he's responsible for her bad publicity.
We're told Halle and Olivier had a fundamental personality clash. She is "very difficult" and "goes nuts when she doesn't get her way," and Olivier has a temper, though not violent toward her. It was a bad combo.

Actress Bai Ling Bizarre Red Carpet Ensemble

We may start to wonder if Bai Ling owns any normal clothes at all.

Not that we're complaining.
The 49-year-old star appeared at the International Fashion Film Awards in Beverly Hills wearing, well, pretty much nothing.
Hun, do you not get cold?

Hitting the red carpet at the Saban Theatre, the Chinese-American actress was spotted in a bizarre outfit made up of icon signs that barely covered her boobs.
Seriously, the star narrowly avoided a nip-slip.
And that's not all.

Bai also only just managed to cover up her modesty down below with a sign which read: "Bai Ling's Cookie: Film Proposes: Will You Marry me? Fashion Says: YES!!!"

She teamed the ridiculous outfit with a pair of red stripper heels.
Well, if she's happy wearing it that's what counts, right?

The brunette actress wore her hair piled high and put on plenty of red lipstick and black eyeliner, blowing kisses to the paps before later presenting an award.

Khloe Kardashian Tells Lamar Odom - You Do Drugs Again, I"m Gone for Good

Khloe Kardashian isn't stupid, and she's ready to re-launch divorce proceedings if Lamar Odom shows any signs of going back to the world of drugs... so say sources connected with Khloe reports TMZ.

Our sources say Khloe is annoyed by people on social media who are calling her a naive for dropping the divorce.

TMZ broke the story, Khloe and Lamar both signed off to dismiss the divorce case, which was all but final.
We're told Khloe knows better than anyone about Lamar's battle with drugs.  Feelings aside, she's game to drop the divorce party because Lamar has no one else in his life to help him recover.  And, by the way, we're told Lamar is on the Kardashian health insurance policy and he needs to stay on.

Lamar's medical bills will total in the many millions, and our sources say he doesn't have the financial wherewithal to handle it on his own.
It's murky, because if this were just about health insurance, Khloe could easily buy it for him and go through with the divorce.
Bottom line ... if he goes back to drugs, she's gone.

I Sold Pepper Soup To Raise Money For My School Fees - Annie Idibia

Speaking as a Guest speaker at the Eve secondary school series yesterday, Nollywood actress and wife to music legend 2baba, Annie Idibia revealed she once sold pepper soup with her mother to make hands meet.

The mother of two and wife of the famous superstar singer 2face Idibia urged the crowd of students not to give up on their dreams, stating that....
"I want you all to follow your dreams. I don't want you to feel like the next person is more privileged than you and use that as an excuse for failure.

I had no break time when I was in secondary school because I had to go to the market during breaks to buy pepper soup things from the market and put in the fridge for my mom to cook and sell in the evening. And after school I would assist her in selling. I had to do that because that was how I and my brothers school fees were paid. Today I am living my dream."

Lesbianism Scandal Rocks Kogi State University

Kogi State University is in the news for unpleasant reasons as lesbian sex videos involving students of the university recently emerged on the campus.

Some of the students involved are those of Economics and English Education departments.

The two students in one of the videos monitored by Vanguard, revealed how deep the culture of lesbianism had infiltrated the female hostels in the school.

One of the students is considering leaving the school to avoid possible stigmatization as the videos had gone viral.

A female student in the Department of Zoology who craved anonymity, told Vanguard that lesbianism was becoming a big issue in the university.

She said young, fresh undergraduates were lured into the immoral club as many of them do not know what was in it before joining the lesbian ring.
“Kogi State University is fast becoming the comfort zone for lesbians.

Many Jambites are lured into the ring because they don’t even know what it is all about.
What they do now is to relocate off-campus in order to enjoy the privacy needed for their illicit and immoral act. Once in it, it is so difficult to renounce because lesbians share a lot of gifts to keep victims in it.

The authorities of this school may need to take drastic steps to restore the moral integrity and discipline for which we were known,” she said.
When Vanguard got in contact with one of the lesbians, she said she was lured into lesbianism in her first week on campus by a very wealthy 300 student.

She said she was not aware that their sex escapades were recorded, threatening to quit the university in order to save the integrity of her family.
“My attention was drawn to the video in circulation by one of my friends. When I watched it, I knew that was the end of my stay in this school.
Many of my course mates already have the video, so it will be difficult for me to continue my academic programme because of possible stigmatization. I have brought shame to myself and my family,” she lamented.
Although the school authorities are yet to release an official statement on the scandal, sources close to the authorities said investigations into the issue of lesbianism among the students had commenced.

Rob Kardashian Offers Up His Kidney For Ailing Lamar Odom

Rob Kardashian has apparently stepped up to donate his own kidney for Lamar Odom, should a transplant turn out to be necessary.

With reports claiming that Lamar’s condition is still very touch and go, with multiple surgeries and kidney dialysis needed, family friends say Rob is eager to help any way he can.

In a special report from The Doctors, an insider close to the family reveals that though Rob has no idea if he would even be a match at the moment, he is willing to take whatever tests and undergo any procedures it takes to determine this for sure and help his “brother” Lamar.

Aww, nice right? Regardless of any prior reports of how they’ve painted him in the media, you can’t say this family doesn’t care what happens to Lamar.

I Want to Draw Blood with My New Book - Wole Soyinka

Playwright and Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has said he wants to ‘draw blood’ with his latest book, ‘Interinventions.’

He explained that the book was his tool of ‘vengeance’ against what he termed ‘unprovoked assault of public lies’ many of which he claimed were directed at him.

Making his remarks at the formal inauguration of The Wole Soyinka Foundation yesterday at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, Ogun State said:
InterInventions, is the nastiest book I have ever written. It is my vengeance against public lies. It is not one of the butterfly books.
I want to draw blood (with it). I’m warning all of you, if you feel vengeful, read this book and you will be alright. It is like homeopathic medicine. It is so truthful that it hurts.”

The 130-page literary work — InterInventions, Between Defective Memory and Public Lie, A Personal Odyssey in The Republic of Liars was presented to the public by the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

I Never Rejected To Be Ordained As Pastor - Zack Orji

Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, has explained why he hardly act too many films nowadays unlike in the past when he was a regular face on the silver screens.

He told City People recently that age has limited his acceptance of several movie roles that jostle for his attention.
Zack Orji also told the journal how he accepted to be ordained as a man of God in 2012.
The actor said when his pastor approached him with the offer, he gladly grabbed it without questioning.

“Even before my ordination, I had been receiving invitations from different places to come and minister. So when the offer came from my bishop to ordain me, I didn’t reject it. I took it whole heatedly and I get excited when I have opportunity to speak to people, inspire them and draw them closer to God,” he said.

Breaking: Court of Appeal indefinitely adjourns Saraki’s case against Code of Conduct Tribunal

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Monday indefinitely adjourned the delivery of judgement in the appeal filed by Senate President Bukola Saraki against his trial by the Code of Conduct Bureau at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Channels Television reports that the court registrar while making the announcement on Monday gave no reasons for the postponement.

Saraki had filed an appeal challenging the legality of his arraignment at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

In the appeal argued by his counsel, Mr Joseph Daudu (SAN), the Senate President asked the appellate court to set aside the proceeding of the Code of Conduct Tribunal held in September.

He similarly asked the court to set aside the criminal charges of false declaration of assets, filed against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau.

The senate president is also challenging the legality of the Code of Conduct Tribunal based on its composition.

Saraki’s lawyer argued that the Code of Conduct Tribunal sat with only two members instead of three, which he posited was not in compliance with the constitutional provision of three members, and that Saraki’s arraignment should therefore be declared invalid.
